With our commitment to the planet in mind, our mascara is not waterproof as a waterproof mascara is formulated with film-forming / plasticising agents. Our mascara formula contains water to facilitate the removal of your makeup, without rubbing and damaging the lashes.
JOJOBA OIL
Jojoba oil is a 100% vegetal extract and part of millenary beauty rituals for its multiple virtues. The cold-pressed seeds give a rich serum that nourishes and stimulates eyelash growth.
CARNAUBA WAX
Our Sérum Noir contains carnauba wax to thicken, stretch and lift lashes from root to tip for glamour eyes, in the spirit of the Sixties.
NO MICROPLASTICS
Our formulas do not contain silicon, talc, nor microplastics.
VEGAN AND NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS
Our formulas are vegan, free from beeswax and animal fat, and not tested on animals.
A GLASS BOTTLE
The bottle of Le Sérum Noir is a jewel of innovation. Each part of the bottle was designed to be desirable and recyclable. The glass tube is produced in France using traditional glassmaking techniques that draw upon one hundred-year-old savoir-faire. The cap is made in 100% recyclable metal.
THE BRUSH
Our brush and wiping ring are the first in the world without microplastic. Instead, the brush is composed of castor plant fiber. Its shape was designed to lengthen lashes and provide thickness and volume, without clumping.

The wiping ring is crafted from plant-based fiber materials.

We take the utmost care in formulating our products, selecting only ingredients that are entirely safe and effective. We guarantee that in addition to the 1300 ingredients prohibited in cosmetics by the European Union, our formulas are developed without beeswax, animal fat and microplastics. Our "Blacklist", which defines all the ingredients banned from our formulas, can be viewed below.
Microplastics, or miniscule, plastic particles that are hardly visible to the eye, are often used in cosmetics and personal care products as emulsifying agents or fillers.
These materials make their way from our homes, through our sewage systems and out into the oceans. Not only do these non-biodegradable particles destroy the environment, but once they are consumed by sea animals, these elements make their way along the food chain and ultimately become ingested by humans. It is thus indispensable that we avoid the use of microplastics when developing products.
We have built sustainability into our product designs in order to both raise awareness around the overabundance of disposable packaging, as well as to create beautiful objects that endure. We chose to replace plastic with fine craftsmanship by creating precious, refillable cases using upcycled leather from the Tanneries du Puy in France. Timeless objects that can be passed on from one generation to the next.
Our beauty objects are manufactured from upcycled leather by the prestigious Tanneries du Puy, certified by the label Entreprise du 'Patrimoine Vivant’ (living heritage company), with a unique finish obtained through vegetable tanning.
Handcrafted from artisanal leather, veins, small marks or irregularities on the surface of the leather are natural characteristics of this quality of skin and are not considered as imperfections.
We have also developed our lipstick case and powder case in a black, vegan leather made from a unique, recycled fiber material created by Stella McCartney.
To replace your mascara or eyebrow serum within the dedicated leather sleeve, simply push out the tube from the bottom and glide the new product inside.
