On the 6th of April 2019, the La Bouche Rouge team flew to Togo to discover the drinking water services set up by Eau Vive Internationale, the program La Bouche Rouge has been supporting since its launch.
HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE LINK BETWEEN LIPSTICKS AND YOUR ACTION IN TOGO?
I fail to see how a beauty or fashion brand could be launched today without a real commitment from the very outset.
We are stakeholders in tomorrow's world, we all live on the same planet, solidarity is no longer an option. We are on the cusp of a major structural shift across the professions around us.
What do we choose to do with this new revolution? It will replace old elements with new ones or transform the relationship between mankind and the economy.
This is the choice and responsibility facing our generation of entrepreneurs.
I'm trying on my own scale to get other Station F start-ups in my wake. We must restore the meaning of employer, of company.
We need to reinvent and reconnect with a more positive economy. The economy of sharing must be the economy of tomorrow. The economy must be positive for mankind.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM THIS TRIP?
The importance of sharing is fundamental. It puts things into perspective. It is a very strong internal motivation for our teams.
Our performance is guided by our commitment. Our results are based on the number of litres of drinking water. The goal now is to convince other start-ups to do the same and give meaning to their success from the start.
I also keep in mind the interest and involvement that we stimulated with this project thanks to remarkable, committed individuals such as Louise and Mélodie but also others like Anja Rubik, Chloë Sevigny and Giedre Dukauskaite and I sincerely thank them.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE CAUSE OF WATER?
Lack of water is now one of the leading causes of infant mortality. Water is the first fundamental need to initiate the development of a community. Water brings life, hygiene, health and education.
Without education, Africa will not be able to develop and peacefully manage the immense climate challenge that is brewing. Africa's education today will bring peace tomorrow in Europe and the rest of the world.
